The Community Singers was formed in 2010 to sing at the San Mateo County Hospital Long-Term Care. At least once a month, a group of PMAA singers would meet on Saturdays to sing for about an hour to and with patients. Once COVID hit, the Community Singers went on hiatus until January 2023 when they started the sing along at the San Carlos Adult Center. One day soon, we hope to be able to return to singing at the hospital.
Led by Tom Feledy & Mary Lynn Wilson, The Community Singers sing without accompaniment for fun with no words and no music. Someone starts the song and the rest sing along. Songs include old favorites like Moonlight Bay, Edelweiss, She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain, and God Bless America. Everyone is invited to join us!
